Proffitt was named the Mountain East Conference Golfer of the Week after finishing in a tie for second at the Glade Springs Kickoff Invite. Proffitt tallied a 54-hole total of 216 (71, 73, 72). The first and third round scores were the best for the Camp Creek, West Virginia native since the start of the 2021-22 season.
