Smith averaged 20 points and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 53.8 percent (14-for-26) from the floor and 10-for-10 at the foul line. The Bluefield, West Virginia native started the week with 15 points and five assists in an upset win over West Virginia State. Smith then added a season-high 25 points as CU was narrowly clipped by nationally-ranked Glenville State, 86-81.
