Shelor scored two goals in two games for the Mountain Lions as Concord drew in contests against King and Frostburg State to open the season. Shelor's goal in the 61st minute against King opened up the scoring for the season for CU as Concord went on to tie 2-2 versus the Tornado. On the road, he netted a 76th-minute goal to guarantee the Mountain Lions tied Frostburg State to begin conference play.
