Prather was named the Mountain East Conference Runner of the Year after finishing first at the MEC Championship with a time of 26:08 for the 8,000-meter course, winning by 30 seconds. The Summersville, West Virginia native became the third CU runner since 2016 to take home MEC Runner of the Year. Prather also helped the Mountain Lions to a second-place team finish.
