Prather clocked a time of 23:43 to win the Queens City Invite Friday evening at Charlotte's McAlpine Park. It was the first time in Concord men's cross country program history that a runner has recorded a time of less than 24 minutes for 8,000-meters. Additionally, Prather also ran the second-fastest time in Mountain East Conference history for 8,000-meters, missing the mark by two seconds. It was the second individual win of the season for Prather, and Concord finished fourth as a team.
