Ortiz batted .500 in a 2-2 week for the Mountain Lions as he hit three home runs and drove in eight runs during the weekend. Ortiz hit a walk-off grand slam in a 6-4 eight-inning victory for CU in game one against Fairmont State. Ortiz added a solo home run in a 12-3 win over Fairmont State in game two. Against Frostburg State, the Woodbridge, Virginia native was 3-for-6 with three RBI.
