Fitzwater averaged 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 and blocks while shooting 71.4 percent from the field in the first two games of the season for Concord. Against Charleston, the Glenville, West Virginia native had 15 points, five rebounds and five blocks. In a comeback victory over West Virginia State, Fitzwater nearly posted a double-double of 26 points, 12 rebounds and eight blocks as she shot 10-for-14 from the floor.
