Weitzel ran a NCAA Division II Championship Provisional qualifying in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at Bucknell. Weitzel crossed in 9:05.21 and finished fourth in the field at BU. The time for Weitzel breaks his own school record and ranks in the top 10 in Division II. Saturday marked the second time this season Weitzel has run a provisional mark in an event after recording a provisional time in the 10,000-meter run two weeks ago.
