Chernutan was impressive in the women's track and field team's return to the track Friday and Saturday at the Keydet Invite. Chernutan was apart of the distance medley relay team that broke the school record in the event. Additionally, she helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a 17th-place finish. In her individual event, the 500-meter run, Chernutan finished 17th in a field loaded with Division I runners.
