Jornet was named the Mountain East Conference Player of the Year after winning the Mountain East Conference Spring Classic at Oglebay Classic last Monday. Jornet won all three MEC events during the 2016-17 season averaging an 18-hole score of 76.5 throughout seven rounds of MEC competition.
