Starliper led the Mountain Lions to their first MEC Championship by finishing second at the conference championship race Saturday. Starliper ran a time of 28:22 to collect his second straight runner-up finish at the MEC Championship. For his efforts, the Hancock, Maryland native earned All-MEC First Team. The team title was the first conference championship for Concord since 2007.
