Thompson scored two goals for the Mountain Lions in a pair of wins over Wheeling Jesuit, 3-2, and Fairmont State, 1-0. Thompson's goal versus WJU was the go-ahead goal in the second half and was her first of the season. Meanwhile, the Hurricane, West Virginia native's goal against Fairmont State came with just three minutes left in double overtime. Both wins kept CU in contention for a playoff spot in the upcoming Mountain East Conference playoffs.
