Meadows ran a personal-best time of 1:58.94 in the 800-meter run to win the event at the Bobcat Open Friday night. The Beckley, West Virginia native also moved up from 12^th to sixth on the Mountain East Conference performance list with his stellar time. Meadows returned later in the meet to run a season-best time of 23.54 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
