Reed averaged 28 points, made 12 three-pointers and shot 60 percent (12-for-20) from three-point range in two games this week as the Mountain Lions earned a pivotal conference win over Charleston and also beat West Virginia State. Reed set a career-high by scoring 40 points in Saturday’s game versus West Virginia State as he set the Mountain East Conference record by making 10 three-pointers and tied the Concord single-game mark. Reed also tallied the third 40-point game in MEC history. The South Bend, Indiana has now scored 30 or more points in two of his last three games after pouring 31 points at Wheeling Jesuit.
