Concord University sophomore pitcher Allie Reid was a perfect 3-0 for the Mountain Lions last week, leading CU to victories over Lees-McRae (6-0), Shepherd (5-1) and Fairmont State (5-4). For the week, Reid was 3-0 with a 1.56 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 18 innings of work. She began her week by allowing just one hit over four innings on the way to a combined shutout victory over Lees-McRae. Reid then opened MEC play up by striking out a career-high eight batters and scattering four hits and one unearned run over seven innings for a 5-1 win against Shepherd. She capped off her weekend with a complete-game victory vs. Fairmont State that saw the Reid strikeout four Falcon batters.
