Junior forward Andrea Bertrand led Concord to a 2-1 week with victories over Bluefield State and Davis & Elkins followed by a narrow loss to Notre Dame College. For the week, Bertrand posted per game averages of 18.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting an impressive 51.2 percent (21-for-41) from the field in addition to a stellar 81.3 (13-for-16) free throw shooting percentage. The highlight of Bertrand’s week was a 23-point, 11-rebound effort in CU’s win vs. Davis & Elkins. She also recorded a pair of 16-point games vs. the Falcons and Lady Blues.
