Smith was named the Mountain East Conference Player of the Year after averaging a double-double of 18.8 points and 10.9 rebounds. She finished second in the MEC in scoring and was first in rebounding, field-goal percentage (57.0), free-throw percentage (85.7) and double-doubles (18). Smith became the third conference player of the year in CU's women's basketball history, joining Renee Gagnier (2003) and Tracy Fletcher (1987).
