Hammonds set three school records at the Mountain East Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships. Additionally, Hammonds was named All-MEC Honorable Mention in two different events, the pentathlon and long jump. Individually, Hammonds broke her own school record in the long jump by marking 5.71 meters as she finished third to pick up All-MEC honors. Hammonds scored a school-record 3,369 points in the pentathlon to also place third and being named All-MEC Honorable Mention. The Lee, Virginia native set the school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a showing of 9.27 seconds, a mark previously held by Meagan Savioli (2011) at 9.40 seconds.Â
