Collins won the 60-meter dash at the Mountain East Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday afternoon. The Princeton, West Virginia native clocked a time of 6.70 seconds which is tied for the 12th fastest time in Division II this season. Collins' time was also a school record which was previously held at 6.78 seconds by RJ Anderson from the 2012 season. Collins became the first CU athlete to win the 60-meter dash at the MEC Indoor Championships
