Tolbert was named the Mountain East Conference Player of the Year after leading the MEC in scoring (21.3) while finishing top 10 in the conference in rebounding, assists, field-goal percentage and free-throw percentage. Tolbert became CU's first conference player of the year since Lewis Muse in the 2004-05 season.
