CONCORD STUMBLES IN 1st ROUND OF NATIONALS

There's still time.

The Concord Men's Golf team struggled in the first round of the NCAA Division II National Championships Tuesday, but the Mountain Lions have three rounds left to make a move toward the top.

Concord posted a team score of 39 over par at the par-72, 7143-yard Sagamore Golf Club in Noblesville, IN, leaving the Mountain Lions near the bottom of the 20-team field.

The Mountain Lions started Tuesday's first round on the back nine at 7:30 am EDT and quickly ran into trouble. Each player recorded at least one bogey in the first two holes.
