BASEBALL ANNOUNCES FALL SHOWCASE CAMP

REGISTRATION INFORMATION AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

In Major League Baseball, October is the month in which legends are made.

This October, high school-age baseball players looking to hone their skills under the guidance of one of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's top programs are welcome to take part in Concord University's Fall Showcase Camp.

The one-day camp is scheduled for Sunday, October 24th, at the CU campus in Athens.

Mountain Lions head coach Andrew Wright and assistant coach Levi Maxwell will help young athletes improve their pitching skills and the other “five tools” that make a great player – running, catching, throwing, hitting, and hitting with power.

Concord Baseball has made 12 consecutive appearances in the WVIAC Tournament and has reached the NCAA Regional Tournament twice in the last three seasons. Numerous Mountain Lions have earned All-American, All-Regional and All-WVIAC honors over the last decade.

Concord has a record of 91-38 in the last three seasons, a remarkable .705 winning percentage.
