DOUBLEHEADER VS. FAIRMONT STATE RESCHEDULED

Snow still covers Anderson Field, the home of Concord's Baseball team.
So the Mountain Lions have announced the rescheduling of their WVIAC doubleheader against Fairmont State.
Originally set for Wednesday, March 3rd, the twinbill is now set for Thursday, April 15th.
First pitch will be at 1:00 pm EDT.
The lingering winter conditions forced the cancellation of Concord's scheduled season opening series against Ashland University [KY] (February 20-21) and the postponement of CU's conference-opening four-game series against Salem International (February 27-28).
A make-up date for the SIU series has yet to be determined.
The Mountain Lions hope to begin their 2010 campaign on Sunday, March 7th. Concord is scheduled to meet Armstrong Atlantic State [GA] at 2:00 pm EST, as part of the Savannah Invitational in Savannah, GA.
The Invitational has Concord set to play five games in five days during their annual Spring Break trip. Weather permitting, of course.
